Las monedas de Caronte

Cripta de la Catedral de Santa María

Visitando la cripta de la antigua Catedral de Santa María impresiona el espacio y especialmente la historia del cadáver con la moneda en la boca, pago a Caronte, que con su barca guiaba las almas de los difuntos después de su muerte por el Hades, el inframundo. Aquí está el mar de monedas, testigos del tiempo y de la condición humana.
Partiendo de ese mar y ayudados por la luz y la música se genera un clima que durante unos minutos posibilita ver la Cripta desde otra perspectiva.

Antzinako Santa Maria katedraleko kripta bisitatzen badugu, eremuak harritzen du, eta txanpona ahoan duen gorpuaren istorioak bereziki. Caronteren ordainez eginda dago, bere txaluparekin hildakoen arimak gidatzen zituena, Hadesek (azpimunduak) hil eta gero. Hemen txanponen itsasoa dago, denboraren eta giza izaeraren lekukoak direnak. Visiting the crypt of the old Cathedral of Santa María, viewers are impressed by the space and particularly the history of the corpse with the coin in the mouth, payment to Charon, who guided with his boat the souls of the deceased along the Hades, the underworld. Departing from that sea and assisted by the light and music. a climate is generated which during some minutes enables to see the Crypt from other perspective.
