WAVE INTERFERENCE es una escultura cinética de 88 tubos fluorescentes animados mecánicamente como una cascada ondulante de luz. Un órgano de bombeo del siglo XIX proporciona la banda sonora, recordando las primeras películas de terror, imponiendo sentimientos de inquietud y pavor ante una vista que debería inspirar misterio y asombro. Muchos de los temas son una respuesta al auge del pensamiento anticientífico, que impone sentimientos de miedo y sospecha hacia la misteriosa belleza del conocimiento que debe celebrarse

XIX. mendeko ponpaketa organo batek soinu banda ematen dio, eta beldurrezko lehen filmak gogorarazten ditu, misterioa eta harridura inspiratu beharko lituzkeen ikuspegi baten aurrean ezinegon eta izu sentimenduak sorrarazten baititu. Gaietako asko zientziaren aurkako pentsamoldearen gorakadari emandako erantzuna dira, beldur eta susmo sentimenduak inposatzen baititu ospatu behar den ezagutzaren edertasun misteriotsuari dagokionez.
WAVE INTERFERENCE is a kinetic sculpture of 88 fluorescent tubes mechanically animated as an undulating waterfall of light. A 19th century pump organ provides the soundtrack, reminiscent of early horror films, imposing feelings of unease and dread upon a sight that should inspire feelings of mystery and wonder. Many of the themes are a response to a recent rise in anti-scientific thought, which tends to impose feelings of fear and suspicion towards the mysterious beauty of knowledge that should be celebrated.
